Cadboro Bay is a seaside community in the Canadian province of British Columbia, located in the Greater Victoria municipality of Saanich. Cadboro Bay is a neighbourhood nestled between the University of Victoria uphill to the west and some of the most expensive neighbourhoods in Greater Victoria on the other sides: the Uplands district to the south, Ten Mile Point to the east and the Queenswood neighbourhood, with its multi-million dollar, secluded homes to the north. The heart of Cadboro Bay is its English style village shopping area, which is also the site of Promenade.
One of Cadboro Bay's claims to fame is a beautiful curving, public sandy beach. Cadboro Bay gets its name from the first Hudsons Bay Company sailing vessel brought to the BC coast, the Cadboro.
